S5 technology is capable of wide area coverage, including major metropolitan areas and large installations, with S5 tags offering telemetry and location services.  This small device –- about the size of an SD card—has the ability to transmit data indoors and outdoors enabling location coordinates as accurate as a GPS system.  This data is transmitted to base stations, which in turn use S5 infrastructure to securely provide location information to customers without any complex integration on the customer's part.  A simple S5 Wireless device with these capabilities will maintain a battery life for many years, dependent upon the application, and provide a wireless network solution at a fraction of the cost of current wireless technologies.
